I provide Psychotherapy, Supervision and Creative Couples’ Work chiefly via Skype although for some months of the year I am available in Oxfordshire. My approach takes as its starting point that our gravest problems also offer opportunities for healing and the first thing needed is kindness.

I have a particular interest in working with those trying to blend families and eating issues. You will find my blog at www.psychotherapistscookbook.com

My background is in yoga and listening to the body is as much a part of my work as listening to what people say.

My practice is supported by the teaching of the Ridhwan spiritual work school known as the Diamond Approach. This uses depth psychology in the service of spiritual development.

Professional Formation

After a Modern Languages degree and a PhD, I spent time bringing up children as a mother and a step-mother before completing a Master Practitioner course in NLP and working for some years as a Samaritan. My professional training was with the Karuna Institute and my couples’ training with Gender Psychology. I  was recently awarded a Diploma in Integrative Supervision of Individuals and Groups by The Grove Practice Ltd. I am also a Sivananda yoga teacher.

An accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I abide by their code of ethics. I work in private practice in Oxfordshire and Venice.
