It’s a short walk to the beach or to the boat stop where frequent vaporetti will take you across to San Marco in under fifteen minutes. Surrounded by good shops and restaurants, it is the ideal place to recover from your shopping and sightseeing in Venice.

Alternatively, if you fancy a relaxing retreat in the UK, Asthall, in the heart of the Cotswolds, is an idyllic village well placed as a base for visiting all the famous villages, Oxford, Blenheim and Bicester Village. Our stone house has a 5-acre garden and we have tucked away a purpose-built luxury dacha for couples to escape to. You could indulge in some couples’ therapy while you are there or simply try all the excellent local pubs and sit in the hot tub each evening.
